Wow! Has it really been over four-and-a-half years since we updated the website? While we have been active on our facebook page, our website has been sadly neglected due to work and other commitments. But we have decided to try and put that right and update things more often.
However, despite the lack of updates here, the club itself has still been incredibly active. New members have joined up and the upper floor of the Priory is often quite full on some Monday nights. Running nights (where we bring our own trains and rolling stock to run) are still very popular too; these now occur on the first Monday of every month.
Work is still progressing well on all of our layouts. Priory Junction has had an extension so that trains can run a full circuit without stopping. The extension has meant that a lot more track laying, wiring and scenic jobs have had to be completed - and it's still far from done!
Work is also progressing on the Exeter Central 'N' gauge layout. A lot of point motors were wired in during the last few months, although again there is still work to be done here. Our small 72A 'N' gauge layout is often out and about at exhibitions and we have been bequeathed another layout (more on that later).
If you want to join us, please get in touch via this site or Facebook and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
Oh and do like our tea and biscuits!
